The Premises Rehearsal & Recording Studios, London
In the heart of London's East End, The Premises has been one of the capital's most popular music studio venues for more than twenty one years. The Premises now has fourteen high-spec, low-cost music studios for rehearsal and recording.
Rehearsal Studios
The Rehearsal Studios all feature air-conditioning/central heating, natural light, quality Mackie PA systems, Sennheiser mics and CD players. Mirrored walls and dance floors available.
Recording Studios
There are two Recording Studios at The Premises: Studio A is fully solar powered and features the new SSL AWS900 console with a Pro Tools HD2 192 rig; and Studio B - the Trident mixdown room.
With more artists getting eco-conscious it was only a matter of time before a fully-fledged eco studio became a reality. Studio A is the first solar powered professional recording studio in Europe.

Who's On The Premises...
The Last Shadow Puppets are in rehearsing for a couple of weeks, Lily Allen's been in Studio A, recording for her new album. Alphabeat too, cutting some new stuff to follow their big hit single. Lots of others in The Premises recently: The Kooks, David Jordan, Get Cape Wear Cape, Kate Nash, Klaxons, Bloc Party, Soweto Kinch, and The Hoodlums, Other nice people here included We Are Scientists, Alexander O'Neal, UNKLE, James, plus The Kills (Kate Moss turned a few heads in the Cafe too),
Great to see Paul Weller in Studio A1 with young guns The Rifles last week Premises' regulars the Rifles sold out their March 28th gig at The Forum and round the country. Watch this space.
