CD Mastering

When you've finished your mixes and you're ready to press them up, either as a short run of CDR copies or as finished albums, then you will need to get them mastered.

Mastering will boost all the frequencies and apply some sophisticated compression which will make your stuff sound much louder, it will also normalise and optimise the EQ so everything sounds as clear and punchy as any commercial album. If you need to do edits then this is the time to do them. Each track is topped and tailed, track gaps are put in and the whole is PQ encoded to Red Book standard. This is an essential requirement before manufacturers will press your album. We guarantee you will be amazed at the results!

Typically, an attended album mastering session will take around six hours.

Mastering costs £45 per hour plus engineer.                                                                (Member rate £36 per hour + engineer)  CDR Masters are £5 each.
