YAMAHA C3 GRAND PIANO IN LIVE ROOM
Minutes walk from Hoxton overground, we are host to a large array of classic outboard, mics and instruments including a huge selection of synthesisers, amps and a Yamaha C3 grand piano. All hooked up to a 32 channel Pro Tools HDX system via a 24 channel SSL console.
Everything from the acoustic treatment to the mic cabinet, storage and synth racks have been lovingly crafted in house to make sure that they best serve their purpose in the room, making everything easily accessible to maximise your time and creative output.
The studio has an abundance of natural light and a conservatory area which can double as a second production suite or green room. We regularly facilitate recording sessions and writing camps as well as podcasts, radio shows, filmed sessions and live streams. Clients also have the option of using our in house cameras, lighting kit and green screen.
CONTROL ROOM
The control room has line of sight through the vocal booth and into the live room beyond. Centred around the SSL AWS 900, with G and E series EQs and the classic bus compressor are our ATC SCM25 Pros, along with alternate options of NS10s (Bryston amp) and a modified Roberts radio. RECORDING SPACES
Our main recording space is the naturally lit wooden live room which, with a combination of absorption and diffusion features a huge custom made quadratic diffuser in one wall and ceiling diffuser which spans the entire room, eliminating any flutter echoes and providing a uniquely smooth reverb which accentuates the size of the space.
Situated between the live room and control room is the vocal booth, with line of sight into its adjacent rooms and 360 degree absorbent curtains. The large drum booth also has a view into the conservatory through it's large circular feature window.
The conservatory area can be used as an additional recording space, second production suite or simply a place to relax.
