Nikki Yeoh's 28th annual Piano Recording Week at Premises Studios is set for lift off on 24th August running to 28th August in the heart of Shoreditch, London.
With a stellar line up of tutors including Jonathan Gee, Andrea Vicari and Sara McGuiness, you will be immersed in the experience of prepping a track ready to record in Studio A with A-list musicians Miles Pillinger on drums and Dominic Howles on bass.
Working in a small group, you’ll be going over some jazz classics from The Real Book, focussing on technique, harmonies, soloing, voicings and band communication.
It's a very popular course and you come away not only with a more honed and crafted technique but also the creative courage to explore improvisation.
On the final day you’ll get to record your own piano trio track in our legendary pro recording studio.
