The Premises Rehearsal & Recording Studios, London
In the heart of London's East End, The Premises has been one of the capital's most popular music studio venues for more than twenty one years. The Premises now has fourteen high-spec, low-cost music studios for rehearsal and recording.
Rehearsal Studios
The Rehearsal Studios all feature air-conditioning/central heating, natural light, quality Mackie PA systems, Sennheiser mics and CD players. Mirrored walls and dance floors available.
Recording Studios
There are two Recording Studios at The Premises: Studio A is fully solar powered and features the new SSL AWS900 console with a Pro Tools HD2 192 rig; and Studio B - the Trident mixdown room.
With more and more artists becoming eco-aware it was only a matter of time before a fully-fledged eco studio became a reality. Studio A is the first solar powered professional recording studio in Europe.

The Premises Cafe opens daily at 8am serving continuously from breakfast through dinner. Fresh menu from 5.30 with fabulous Turkish Mangal Grills, Daily Specials and Salads. Fully licenced.

Who's On The Premises...
The past few months have been the busiest ever here: Florence & The Machine, Peter Green, Klaxons + Art Brut have been in Recording Studio A. Plus 3 weeks of Arctic Monkeys, Esser, Jo Lean, V.V.Brown, Marianne Faithfull, Little Boots and The Horrors. Congrats to Lily Allen (her current hit single 'It's Not Fair' was recorded in Studio A with producer Greg Kustin.)
