If you’re a songwriter or composer who’d like to see your work blossom and to hear it recorded by a selected group of pro session musicians, with yourself as the arranger, then this is the course for you!
This three-day course at The Premises Studios, led by the renowned Janette Mason, will cover everything you need to know about arranging your song or composition. It will cover all aspects of live and recorded sessions, key, tempo, dynamics, mood, form, beats and instrumentals, intros and outros.
Janette Mason is a first-call arranger, composer, producer, musical director and jazz pianist who has worked with Seal, Oasis, k.d lang and David McAlmont among many others.
The course will be split over two consecutive weekends in late April and early May, with the final day in the main Recording Studio, where you will see your creation come to life with the band.
Numbers are strictly limited to 12 people and all you need is a good song, an idea of how you’d like to grow it, and a burning desire to make it all happen.
The early bird price of £320 is for all three days tuition, all recording and musician costs and a master file of your finished track.
